A creative agency that represents marginalized artists. Here at KOLLIÉ, inclusivity, and diversity are
not a marketing approach. Instead, it is a space without limits. Here we choose to exist beyond. Whomever you confidently stand to be, are welcome. We represent those working in entertainment, fashion, editorial, and advertising.

The name 'Kollié' is my last name. It derives from the Kpelle tribe in Liberia. It means jaguar. It was a perfect fit for the agency because the meaning does not sound as intimidating as the name. The name is an allegory for someone that is considered an underdog.

I teamed up with a photographer, jeweler, and models. I was the creative director, videographer, assistant photographer, model, and stylist. I decided the artist we will be highlighting is Teddy Irwin. He is a dear friend of mine that happens to be a very talented jeweler+fabricator. With full creative direction, I created the logo, gif, and graphics for advertising, website, social channel (Instagram), and business cards.

My research techniques are to use my prior experience, interview those in the field, and connect with other artists to capture my vision. I learned the ins and outs of how a brand operates at a base level. I was fortunate to witness a company transitioning from one logo to another. So I was excited to create a brand identity and flush out my ideas further. For research, I checked out other companies doing something similar and created wireframes based on what I liked about their sites:
• New School
• Tasha Tongpreecha
• Moda
• Off-White
• Elyse Walker

I knew I wanted to use images that embodied my idea. So instead of pulling stock images, I teamed up with a photographer, jeweler, and models. I was the creative director, videographer, assistant photographer, model, and stylist. With full creative direction, I created the logo, gif, and graphics for advertising, website, social channel (Instagram), and business cards. I assisted in taking some photos but stood aside to ensure I captured some videos to include in my final branding.

The use of turquoise is prominent in this series of jewelry. So I wanted to include foliage, plants, stones, and fabrics. Turquoise is a beautiful color. I incorporated more color, contrast, and complementary shades of blues, oranges, reds.

Thank you to my team that trusted my vision and diligently worked with me. I appreciate Jason for his patience & trust that I could bring Kollié alive. To Zoe and Matt, we were just college students on a budget that believed in each other. You are the only two people I can trust to capture my crazy ideas. Teddy Irwin, my only family in Philadelphia began with my friendship with you. I love who you have become both as an artist and a person. Continue to create and use your voice+creations to continue speaking volumes.
Thanks for witnessing and believing in me to create one of my proudest creations.
