KOLLIÉ Collective is named after my family surname Kollie, meaning Jaguar in Kpelle. This creative agency encourages creators from all walks of life to go beyond the limitations the world currently provides. We choose to exist beyond. Those working in fashion, editorial, and advertising are represented here. All are welcomed, whether they are female, male, non-binary, or whomever they identify as.
For this shoot, I collaborated with photographer Matthew Murray. The makeup was done by Zoe Vallejo. I was the creative director, hairstylist, stylist, and model for the shoot. My vision for the shoot was to be bold, daring, and have a vintage touch. For makeup, I wanted to have a soft matte lip with a cat eye. An updo with exaggerated baby hair conveys a swinger with a modern twist. I chose a burgundy corset top to give into the bold and seductive feel of the shoot. Murray and I both worked on editing and lighting.
I knew I wanted to use images that embodied my idea. So instead of pulling stock images, I teamed up with a photographer, jeweler, and models. I was the creative director, videographer, assistant photographer, model, and stylist. With full creative direction, I created the logo, gif, and graphics for advertising, website, social channel (Instagram), and business cards. I assisted in taking some photos but stood aside to ensure I captured some videos to include in my final branding.

Elements of Earth
The use of turquoise is prominent in this series of jewelry. So I wanted to include foliage, plants, stones, and fabrics. Turquoise is a beautiful color. I incorporated more color, contrast, and complementary shades of blues, oranges, reds.
Pairing a futuristic style with photography, the human form, & metals.

Thank you to my team that trusted my vision and diligently worked with me. I appreciate Jason for his patience & trust that I could bring Kollié alive. To Zoe and Matt, we were just college students on a budget that believed in each other.
You are the only two people I can trust to capture my crazy ideas. Teddy Irwin, my only family in Philadelphia began with my friendship with you. I love who you have become both as an artist and a person. Continue to create and use your voice+creations to continue speaking volumes.
Thanks for witnessing and believing in me to create one of my proudest creations.
