I used one of my previous pieces, Lemon Head, to experiment with Photoshop. This pattern resembles Liberian fabric, Lappa, used to create head wraps and clothing. This was originally a hand-drawn piece. Micron pens were used to add color. I scanned the drawing, inversed/saturated the colors, and created a kaleidoscope-inspired pattern.
